After I downloaded a driver update from Windows Update, my audio device stopped working. The update was for the c-media ac97 audio device. We tried to un-install, and to download other drivers for this device, but nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions please?

You could try to restore your previous settings, before the update. Click Start then Help and Support and choose System Restore. NOTICE! Depending on date you pick to restore you will lose all system settings you made after that date.

Thanks! Restore did not work, but I found the exact Realtek driver (AC97 Audio Device) for my ADM motherboard which I found by searching the web for my motherboard model no., and then downloading from www. giga-byte.com, and that fixed the problem!
