I used smart ripper to rip the vob files off of the dvd. I then used dvd2avi to convert the vob file into avi file and an audio file. I get the avi file but I don't get the audio file. Then next program that I use is TMPEG to convert it to mpeg. I can't use TMPEG b/c I need a sound file to convert it tom mpeg. Powel6016
Remember, don't use save AVI, use Save Project Then, use VFAPI to convert .d2v file into a fake .AVI file for compression in VirtualDub. Use CDEx to convert the extracted WAV file (make sure to select Decode to WAV in the DVD2AVI Audio menu) into a RIFF-WAV file (160kbps CBR works great for me) and import this into VirtualDub (or select in TMPGEnc if this works, i dunno if it does or not.)
