No audio/video ports on TV to connect DVD player - work around?

    Hi -

    Someone with even the faintest bit of knowledge on DVD players (which i don't have) will probably know the answer to this. Is it possible to connect a DVD player with only audio/video outputs to a TV with only a standard TV input? Is there a lead that will adapt between the two? Or am I looking at a new TV? :)

    If the TV input you are talking about is a RF cable input for antenna or cable television then a RF Modulator would do the trick.

    okay i might have misread the original post but I think i have a solution. If you have a vcr hook that up to the tv and then hook the dvd player up to the vcr. provided then you will have to have the vcr on in input mode to work the dvd...

     ... The problem with running a DVD player through a VCR into a Tv is that you will run into Macrovision problems when you play certain discs ...
