Hi guys, hoping you can help me. I've just flashed 2 eurovox boxes for a mate no problem. Tried doing my starview box, but no joy. It's a starview 1 box(25 x 7 vents). Used GTRom v4.00 and CryptStar-v1.5-Core400 - I presume these are the right files?? After flashing I go to menu, press 1570 make sure key EMU is on and then wait for it to update. Nothing happens though. Am I going wrong somewhere?
No that's the good way ! Just be patient and select s*y2... Can you tell me what you see when you select "System information" in the menu ?
You might need to do a factory reset, then autoscan, then switch emu on and exit to s*y2, should update then. Password for factory reset is 1668 to get into secret menu: hit menu 1570, turn emu on, exit.
got to the menu press 1570 turn key emu off then exit out turn the box off from the back awitch then turn on again press menu turn key emu back on go again into the main menu select installation then your provider, then automatic scan hopefully your done.
Cheers for the help lads. Think i might be getting somewhere now cos autoscan has found 178 channels instead of previous 52 and 48. Has been trying to update on Sky 2 for past 15 mins but still at 0%, i'm guessing something is still wrong?!
Patience is a virtue lads! Left it on Sky 2 and not Sky Sports 2 like I had been doing and now all is good! Many thanks
