No Channels In Search

    Right here goes,
    i have a starview its not a clone,
    soft ver 4.00e_e
    boot ver 7.0
    7.jun 2007
    V***** M****
    the prob is i can do a channel search
    but it does not find any channels, my signal
    is ok as i've tried my VM BOX, i've tried
    absolutely everything, emu, codes, reset but
    nothing, it happened the other day when i
    entered new codes, i even updated the firmware
    which i think was 2.57? eny help would be
    well appreciated.

    also when i do a search i get all my normal
    fails and and ok's.

    If you are sure its a genuine b0x , revert back to 4.00

    Make sure the incoming cable is plugged into the "Cable Input" socket at thte back of the SV

    Thanks Celtic71,
    but already tried that still nothing,
    the probs started while i had 2.57 soft on the
    box so i upped to 4.0 its confusing cos
    it seems to be finding the channels in search
    as in it fails some freqs and ok's some but
    they are not coming up on the list, tried
    everything people have said on here but nothing,
    hope someone can help.

    Are you 100% that you still have version 4 on it. Press menu and system info to find out.

    Strange alright, have you done as Celt has said above and made sure it is plugged into the cable in socket on the back of the box. Also make sure your are scanning directly from the incoming feed and you are using the correct provider.

    And yep looking forward to that game a true FA Cup game, think everyone is chuffed for them guys, although dont want them to pull one over on us :)

    Hi ye tried all that, i even removed a splitter and then did a direct feed from the box on the wall but no difference, am i right in thinking i don't have to input codes before installation and i also don't have to turm emu on although i have already tried this,
    could you just confirm what my user id should be.

    Try this

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

    Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

    Provider ID N*L
    54 01

    Go ahead and do a factory setting anyway

    Heres the other Provider ID's , You only need these for Nagravision and you have auto update do your OK

    Similar problem for me, except I get 34 channels. Earlier I got around 180. The box only got here today and I scanned first of all before I done the whole connect to pc and turn on EMU business and that's when I got the 180 channels but couldn't view them of course.

    But now I have it all set up with the emu on and the latest codes but it's only finding 34 channels. Some of them are premium channels like Chelsea TV and Setanta 2 so I don't know what's up.

    Any help??
