no comport available

    guys just bought a cable to use for the software but the message i hav is no comprt available. can someone pls help me

    More info needed:
    What STB have you?
    Which Loader are you using and for what Software?
    Which cable have you brought?
    Are you using Com port or USB adaptor on your PC?
    Have you looked in Device Manager to see if you have any allocated Com ports and if yes have you set the Loader software to the same port number?

    Hi
    These are known to be troublesome but, after installing your USB driver. Goto device manager and look which Com port has been allocated then use this Com port in your Starview loader software. Finally make sure you are using a Null Modem cable, a not a Serial cable as they are wired differently.
