no comport detected

    lads am trying to update my ex5000but it asys no comport detected. and also says waiting for respponse from the receiver. can any one help me pls

    You using vista or xp ? Vista has caused several problems but is doable.

    make sure you have the download set to the correct com port,its a common mistake ie the download is set to com 1 and the cable is set to com 2.

    sorry my mistake(thinking of the wrong box)any firmware i download for eurovox always finds the correct conport on my pc straight away.Are you using a null modem or a null modem with a usb adapter?
