    Hello everyone,

I'm using Windows 98SE with the latest DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink softwares. Until now, the decrypter/shrink combo has been working terrific. Yesterday, for some unknown reason, DVD Decrypter cannot find any devices. Therefore, I cannot decrypt any movies. If someone has any solutions as to how to rectify this problem, I'd really appreciate it.

    Thank

Go into device manager and make sure that your device is working properly would be the first step.

Outside of decrypter, does the device play cd's?

    Hi,

Thanks for responding. Yes my Sony DVD RW DW-D22A burner is working properly and it has the latest firmware(BYS3). Also, it does play CDs apart from the decrypter. This problem possibly began after I installed the VSO Inspector and SandraPro 2001 software packages. I ran both applications. After that, I noticed no detection in DVD Decrypter. I checked the I/O settings and when I switch it to the Patin-Couffin setting, it searches infinitely for any devices. Furthermore, under the Device setting tab, the Auto Insert Notification is unchecked. When I check it, a dialog box comes up stating that it is an Operating System setting only. Please reply.
