"No disk in the Drive" protection

    The movie will not even turn in the drive. It doesn´t matter what software I try the answer is allways: "No disk in the Drive". As soon as I try a different movie, then it turns inside of the drive and it is recognized by all the software. Is this a kind of protection that I need a special tool for it? BTW, the movie plays fine in my DVD player. The name of the movie is "Russian Ark"(literally translated from the russian).

    i've had this problem before. i try my other dvd-rom drive and the disc is usually recognized... protection though.. i dont believe so.

    Did you try cleaning the disk?

    Yes, I cleaned it. Didn´t work.DVDInfo couldn´t read the media.I gave up on it. Kept on ripping others without a problem. Thank you guys anyway.
