Does anyone know why Starview gets Disney channels but Eurovox doesn't?

Hi. I am in Oldham. I had them up until recently but now they just say 'NO SIGNAL' on all the disney channels. I have 2 Eurovox boxes and they both say the same but my brother has a 2 year old Starview box and gets them all. He lives less than a mile away!

check the frequencies on your brothers starview and see do they match yours if not do a manual scan on the frequencies from the starview give me a shout if you have a problem doing a manual scan

I have changed the frequency on mine from 538.000 to 538.750 and the other things seem the same except the lewisham thing but it now says 'Service Unknown' Go figure??????????????

No not today. I did a few weeks ago but it didn't work and the second box I have was only bought on Sunday just gone so I did a scan Monday night on that to get the channels but again no Disney. It's a complete mystery to me this.

I think your best bet it to disconnect any splitters you have and plug the eurovox into the main feed and do a rescan you may just have a week signal this happens on some channels when the feed is split.

I have a Konig signal amp which I had to buy when I got the box as it kept skipping badly. Scouse advised me on that occasion. My mum who lives 1 street away from my brother also has no disney channels either. Should have mentioned that before I guess. I'll try the box at my brothers house and see what it comes up with.

I can`t get Disney either, on my new Eurovox V 2008.If I unplug this and plug my old eurovox blue in I get them ok,so it can`t be the signal.
Has anyone got thee channels on the Eurovox 2008?

Hi. I now know what was wrong.

go to what should be the disney channel and press info twice.
note the frequency at the top left and press menu.
move to installation and select user installation.
in there you will see a list of frequencies.
scroll to the frequency that is the same as your disney channel and press OK.
a tick should appear next to the frequency.
now press manual scan (blue button) and the screen will go blank for a few seconds.
wait for the saving message to finish then exit all the way out to the channel.
you will now have disney channels (I hope)

if you once had it then it will still be where it always was. press the TV button (the one above MENU) and the channels are listed (alphabetically)so just find the disney channels in there and press ok. the screen will more than likely be blank but you can still get the frequency.

This may be no use to you depending on where you are in the country but my disney channels are on 538.500. if you have this frequency in your installation menu put the tick next to it as described in the earlier instructions and press blue (manual scan). even if this isn't the right frequency on yours it won't do it any harm.
