I have an old AT&T phone plan which I like very much. However, with AT&T's merge with Cingular, in order to replace my cell phone I'd have to purchase a Cingular phone (as AT&T phones no longer exist), and switch over to a Cingular plan as well. The problem with this lies in the fact that the corresponding Cingular plan is inferior to my AT&T plan, so I don't want to switch over. The solution was to buy an unlocked phone, which I did. My new RAZR is lovely (though I'm rather afraid of it breaking at any moment...), but it does not connect to Cingular's internet service. The Cingular guy said it can't, due to it being a unlocked non-Cingular phone. Can anyone tell me how I can get internet service on my unlocked RAZR in the Cingular network with my AT&T plan?
