No luck with Nero and SVCD...please help

    I am using Pinnacle Studio 7 to edit my footage and Nero (v5.5.7.2) to burn CD-RW’s in PAL format. This is intended for playback on a Sony DVD player. I have successfully written VCD’s which playback on the DVD (DVP-S525D) machine. I have had no luck at all with SVCD’s. I have tried all the various options in Nero without any success. What could be the problem?

    Have you checked/are you sure your player supports SVCDs? http://www.vcdhelp.com/ has a list of DVD players and compatibility issues.
