After reading many threads I've decided to go ahead and ask the question that I'm looking for an answer too...and hopefully someone that is more knowledgable than I am can help!

I recent installed a VIPER GC into my GC and seem to be having problems running the GCOS V6.0? When I flashed the chip everything was ok and I had no errors? So when I power on the GC the original bios boot up like nothing is installed? Am I doing something wrong? Should I be playing with the switches on the programmer? Currently they are both set to in the off position... I've tried the holding Y down to reset the bios and nothing seems to work? It's like a chip is not even installed? I've looked on numerous GC websites to see if I could find different installation/flash guides and compare to what I have done, but all the sites have basically the same guide floating around? Therefore up currently STUCK in a position where I have no idea what the problem many be? I hoping someone has being in the same situation or if someone knows how the correct my current situation.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,
