Whenever i turn on my xbox with the matrix chip inside i never get the blue x anymore. I tried reflashing the chip but it didnt work. Evox doesn't load up, and i dont know why the x is green now. Anyone know why its doing this?
nevermind, the light was green, but apparently it wasnt making correct contact because i pushed down on the chip and it worked. Yeah you get banned, but you can use the eject trick where it disables the chip so you can play.
Some chips allow you to disable it by first loading a disk and then pressing the eject button. It just eleminates having to open the xbox back up in order to disable it. You can tell if it works if the light turns red.
