No or Bad Signal - Always on More 4

Hey all.

I've tried reading as many threads as possible before posting but it doesn't seem anyone has asked the same question as me.

Quite simply, as my title suggests, More 4 80% of the time displays 'No or Bad Signal'. The channel has worked previously at random intervals.

Any ideas?

try rescanning the channels again what type of box do u have?

I am using a Eurovox Max V upstairs and a Eurovox EX5000 PVR downstairs. Its only downstairs that is has stopped. I have just updated the firmware on the box and uploaded the channel file etc, everything else works fine.

The upstairs one has randomly stopped showing More 4 previously also.

have u tried doing a autoscan... sometiems the frquencies move either that make a not of the frequencies of ur one thats working and check them with the other that way u can remove the dodgy frequency and maanually add it

 

Will check the frequencies as soon as my good lady finishes watching her film.

1 thing I do know is that it is the same Channel File uploaded to each of the boxes. Therefore, surely it will be the same frequencies for them both ??

 

SHOULD BE.. either that do a fullscan again

All information relating to More 4 on both my Max V and EX5000 matches - yet the EX5000 still isnt showing the channel - any more thoughts anyone ??

 

Had to post again so my thread didn't fall into the 'unlooked at' section after page 1.

I'm desperate for a solution if anyone has any ideas I can try...

 

Go to the channel (More 4), Press Info twice, it will then show the freqs take a note of it, now press menu, ok on user installation pin is 0000, you will then see a list of freqs, highlight the freqs you noted earlier Press OK on the freqs so a tick appears at the side then press manual scan, the blue button, screen will go blank for 30 seconds or so but leave it, when finished exit back to the problem channel it should now work.

Unfortunately after following your instructions it simply returned me to the same window after approximately 4 seconds of being blank - problem remains...

I know its not your job to help people like me, your help is greatly appreciated.

Any other ideas I could try please ?
