So I finnally Flashed my mod chip correctly, or I'm 90% sure I did. Now, it shut off what looked right. But now, when I turn on my xbox, mod chip on. on any bank nothing happens. The xbox just boots up like it would normally without a cd in it. Anybody know what's up? Was my soldering fucked up all along? I don't know what to do now cause my mod chip doesn't even seem to be installed. Yet the blue power lights on the side are still lit. I got a X-Ecuter 2.3 Pro. and a 1.1 xbox. Any ideas?

If your xbox is booting straight to the normal screen i would suggest checking every wire you have soldered and then check them again. Did you use flux? Are all the connections solid? If all looks good download SlaYer's Evox V2.5 off shareaza ,emule etc burn to a cdrw and see if that boots? if it will not you might need to take your chip out and get a profession to reflash it for you.

Even if your mod is working 100% the xbox will still show the blob screen and end up with the big X and then boot the origonal dash. Make sure you have the boot disk in then restart the xbox, if your xbox will not boot from a CD-RW try a dvd+/-RW disk and burn it with an xiso (made from xiso or craxtion) of the evox dash boot data disk. If then it still will not boot, check your mod and try again.

Well sounds like everything is good to go. If you do not use a color modded bios, then you will not notice any difference after you flash you chip. (which is why I suggest using XBtool to change the colors of the "X" logo on startup) but seems to be working fine for you. Now all you need to do is make the Evox boot disk, and enjoy.
