No signal on Box

    Hi there been given a box by a friend to see if I can help him. It seems to be getting no signal. I uplugged my box and plugged his straight in - (so I know the cable is good) seems to be a bit of the box might have died. If I do a channel search on his box I get nothing. So I did a channel dump - then went to any of them and looked at the quality of the signal 0% though.

    Any ideas on which part I should look at to see if there is anything dead. I have it plugged into the correct port on the back as well ;).

    What box is it ? Have you tried putting the cbale into the output socket as well ?

    Are you getting anything on the screen at all or are you getting picture on screen and no channels????

    sorry forgot to say - its an original starview - he has had it for nearly two years now. Get everything else on the screen just no signal or channel all the menu works - EMU is on and set default key done.
