no signal to box

    hi all im after abit ov advice for a friend is it possible for nt hell to stop a signal comin to a house im asking this because my friend has 2 starview boxes and both are saying no signal i have checked the cables all fine even taken my box round and still no signal i just live round corner and ok with mine

    if cable is plugged into cable input and no signal could mean disconnected.
