no signal

I switch on my starview and all I get is no signal

 

No signal, may indicate there is work going on in your area. Where are you based?

 

I'm based in Harrow, Middlesex

 

Have a look here to see if there is a problem in your area, http://status-cable.virginmedia.com/vmstatus/summary.do , have you checked that the coax lead is firmly plugged into the rf in socket on the back of the box.
