no signal

    New arrival!
    I got the starview 3 yesterday but it says i have no signal.
    I'm in Ireland.
    Can anyone help out there?!!!!

    whats your provider and when you press menu 1.5.7.0 do you get into secret menu if not its probably not flashed and retitle your thread from HELP to something like no signal on starview 3 or the mods will close it and then you cant get any help

    tried "menu 1.5.7.0" but nothing happened.
    My provider is s*y via satellite. `````does that make a difference?

    SV 3 will not work with S*Y , you need cable from a company like N*L , Chor*s , TW or C&W

    thought as much!
    if i switched to chorus via satel would it work or does it have to be hard cable

    Has to be at least a basic package (terrestrial) from the providor!!!
