Hi I did my first burn and I followed the instructions on this site, everything went fine but I knew one thing was weird and that was when it tells you how to burn in NERO wich is what I used. It says put the BUP and IFO and VOB files in the Video_TS folder wich I did but says nothing about Audio_TS so I left it empty. Is that why its not working? And do I need to put the audio file from when I encoded it with TMGENc and got an MPEG2 and an audio file. Do I put that file into the audio TS? or is there another way to do it. Like I said the video works but no audio, what do I put in the Audio TS file?

When you copy a DVD there is nothing placed in to the AUDIO_TS folder. The AUDIO_TS folder is there only for older standalone players to verify that it is infact a DVD.
Are you making a Video DVD from video files other than VOBs? (i.e was the video originally a MPG or AVI?)

What else are you using with Nero? Are you using DVD Shrink?

the original was an AVI in XVID format i think, There are files other than VOB but they are IFO and BUP files. It said I should have those files in the tutorial so I included them. NoI am not using DVD shrinkShould I and what are the benefits? Thanks for answering and what would be the problem then if the sound isnt working?

No I dont think it was AC3, im not positive but I can check and post it later, but I really donnt think it was when I checked with the program. If it was AC3 could that be why the Audio wasnt working?

I think the problem is after I convert using the TMPGEnc the 2 files (MPEG-2 and the audio files) the audio file plays no sound after that. I encoded them and when I open the audio there is just silence. What could cause that? and also how could i fix it.

    | usually use an encoder that'll do both Video+Audio together ... MainConcept MPEG Encoder is my first port of call [as its heads & tails quicker than most other encoders]
