i recently had to remove a dvd rom and installed a new cdrw burner and ever since then i have had no sound... my device drivers are all working and there are no yellow questions marks of any kind... even when i play a file from winamp it show that its playing i just dont get any sounds or any error messages of any kind.... need help ....
are you sure your sound card is selected as the defaul device? Check the sounds and audio devices in control panel and make sure that your sound card is selected as default. and just to eliminate possibilities, you have checked the volume controls for all the different audio devices, right?
