No sound, have all the right codecs

    I installed the new DivX codec and suddenly I have no sound. I installed the latest AC3 one, still no sound. I used GSpot and it says I have the right codecs:

    DivX Decoder Filter
    InterVideo MPEG4 Video Decoder

    I rendered it, and it says it was successful. I still have no sound.

    Any ideas?

    Is this Just on your Computer?

    It Could be your sound Card is Failing.

    You Could try doing a system Restore to Before you Updated your codecs the first time.

    All my MP3s were coming through loud and clear. However, after fiddling with it for hours, I just did a complete uninstall on all codecs and players, then reinstalled DivX codec and player. It's working now. Either I had a bad install the first time around or...well, actually, I don't know what the "or" could be.
