No sound on converted .avi file.

    I have converted and burnt a movie, avi file with vso convertx to dvd, version 2, and have had no probs, but the latest file I done has no audio on playback on a standalone dvd player...plays fine thro windows media player on the disc...anything to do with codecs installed on pc?

    Hello Goon,If you are able to play the files on your computer with any of the media players, then i think there might be some problems with the codec of your AVI convertor .I think you should better try some other convertor for the same.Yeah as I can think of ,you are right, codecs of your media player are able to decode the audio, but not your ur standlaone player.Try googling out some better AVI convertor software.
