No sound on DVD?

    Hi i have a problem with making my own DVD movies from videotapes.
    I have both Pinnacle studio 9 and Ulead Video studio 6 SE DVD. When i save the files (no problem) i get the video with no sound. Yet when i view them on my system using the video player there is sound!
    Any ideas on what is going on?

    Thanks in advance if you know what the solution is.

    are you actually making sure your recording the sound?
