no sound on my nokia dbox2

i got a nokia dbox2, mr dude image
been running fine for couple of years and now volume stutters or completely off

if i restart it, it sometimes comes back sometimes doesnt

tried commando 6 and still experience the problem

 

try a different scart lead, if that fails try a different TV, to rule them both out. it is very easy to have a scart partially hanging out, esp. if you have to connect and then reposition the box. And try using both scarts. if it is still bad you can probably connect via the 2 phono connectors.

 

think its a dodgy scart lead connector

 

everytime i reset emu code[blue button]
settings
reset
it works after the restart
but then goes off after a few hours
