    Hi all,
I am new to DVD burning, and am having trouble getting sound to play on my set top DVD player (Sony). The sound plays on several different computers (with different player software), but not on my set top player. This is both on movies from my digital camcorder, and from a video capture device (from VHS). I am using Intervideo Win DVD Creator 2 on DVD+R media.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!!

some DVD players have a button on the remote or the set for AUDIO, like mine. I can change the audio channel by hitting it and it plays the director cut or DTS or Dolby channel. Try that. If you don't have that then it must be a setting in the programs that uses a certain type of audio that your player doesn't recognize...... thus the silence when playing. Check your program settings and see, and check your manual of your DVD player and see what audio it will play.

    also....... welcome to AfterDawn!
