    Hello,
i'm looking for a little help with a DVD issue. i have a fairly new DVD player (about a year old) that works perfectly with any normal DVD i have used in it.

a friend of mine has made me some DVD's of some footage he recorded a while ago that he recently made into digital format and recorded onto DVD.

for some reason though...when i try to play his DVD (which are DVD+RW's) there is no sound. everything else works just fine....the pictures...all teh tracks. neither of us can figure out why.

    any thoughts out there?

    Thanks, Terry

hmmm maybe the default audio format is not supported on your set-up ie.. dts 5.1,dts ac35.1,ac3 2ch if your set-up allows for different out-puts try it out stereo or high fi dolby digital hope this helps
