No, this is not a codec, not a filter, just a player. But if you can't find anything for your problems, this might work (it worked form my no sound problem, at least): Downlad the ACE Mega Codecs Pack. For are you lazy guys out there: ftp://ftp.vein.hu/pub/windows/utils/media/codecs/ACEMCP501PROXP.EXE Next go to the folder where you installed it (ie C:/program files/ace mega codec pack) and delete everything except the folder called ZoomPlayer (or you can leave it there, doesn't matter). This ZoomPlayer has already been filtered, codeced, whatever so you don't have to do anything. Open your movie in it, and see if it works now.
Hey i am so new at this what iknow about this area is very limited and learned in the last week what i need to know is why won't the audio for my kazzaa downloaded AVI files work. The picture is great but no sound, and i ask here because i have the zoomplayer and every codec imaginable but no go. i have isolated the problem with AVI files with WMA V2 what not audio help?
Im afraid there's not much I can do for you buddy. Did you try uninstalling zoomplayer, and then re-installing the one from the codec pack I posted above? Do you have VLC? Try playing it in that, it might do the trick: http://www.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/0.5.0/win32/vlc-0.5.0-win32.zip
