Some movies that I want to back up using AutoGK do not have any sound tracks. I use DVD Decrypter to get the VTS files. Does anyone know if I am doing something wrong or should I try a different program ?
If you selected a VTS with a sound track, your movie should have it. Check agk_tmp folder (it lies where where you'll put the movie): AGK should extract the AC3 , normalize and convert it to MP3 (if needed). AGK never failed me; two reasons for your fail might be: - the DVD haa a VTS with an erroneous .IFO which shows the Nth audio to be present, but no such AC3 exists, in the VOB (if you play the DVD with the Nth track a DVD player, you hear no sound); - all is correct, but your AVI has AC3 sound and you can't play AC3 files (you need to install, on yout PC, a codec like AC3 filter, ot to play the AVI ensewhere, like on a DivX player).
