I just picked up my sub woofer and speakers today, which are all fairly cheap by the way. I am not getting any sound from the sub woofer. I plugged the line in of the sub to the pre out sub woofer jack of the receiver. I ran a digital coaxial cable from my dvd player to the receiver and got sound from all 5 speakers but still no bass. Thanks for any suggestions.
