no sound with windows xp 64 bit

    i just installed my windows 64 bit on a and 64 and every time i try to lisen to music its quiet no sound at all im runing realtek 97 and i have tryed going in to my programes and trying to solve it i also tryed it in windows going to speekers and then advanced and every time it says missing mmdriver or mm driver not conpatable 4 64 can any 1 help me asap please

    the moator is a samsung syncmaster713 bm and its got built in speekers and it just wont work at all on the sound

    Download the driver for your soundcard, if it's available.
    If not, well... then you're SOL, since windows XP 64 is still very new, and driver compatibility isn't that good yet.

    its avalible but i get the error all the time saying that theres no mmdrive.inf or its not for the 64 bit prosses

    Then you're either using the wrong driver, or it's faulty.
