i've downloaded some svcd's that are in avi form. when i try to convert them to vcd like i normally do with tmpge, i lose the sound after 8 seconds. is there something i need to do different or a plug in or something? any suggestions are welcomed.
well , im not sure i understand , if it's an avi file it's not a svcd!!!??? if it's a divx , be sure to have the latest codec and use virtualdub frameserving with tmpgenc to encode the movie. see the tutorial about it good luck
well they are in a avi file, like for instance... catch me if you can is in 3 parts and each part is around 250mb. also the file was incoded as a svcd you can tell to by the quality even though they are a screener. i have a few more movies that are the same way and every time i convert them the way i always have the picture is still very good but the sound cuts off after 8 seconds. i dont know if you ever looked at vcdquality.com but you can see there the number of movies comming in svcd form, and different places have them as avi's.... so i'm still looking for help converting them with sound thanks
