NO SOUND

    this has happend to me before.. i am getting no sound out of my speakers on my computer. they speaker on the bottom left is gone. what i did before is i downloaded something called soundmax and then it worked again but i deleted it agian somehow and i found some other thing called sound max off like 3 diff sites and when i install them i get a message that says driver not found reboot and try again. can some1 please help me out. thank you

    update your sound device drivers

    how do i find out what kind of sound card i have. dont i need to kno that in order to update it

    Start>Control Panel>Device Manager> Scroll down until you see sound and audio devices. Expand that list. Look at the list see if you have any exlamation marks (I believe thats what they are when something is wrong, correct me if need be). Go to each one and trouble shoot. Post your results
