No sound

Hi guys, sorry for posting here, but have followed all the instructions (affected by same prob as everyone). Everything is fine except i have no sound from any of my channels. I have tried trawling through the previous posts but cannot find anything except being advised to switch it on and off. I have tried this but the issue is not resolved. I am uk, using hell, with a replay lite.

Might sound daft but you havent got a loose scart/tv or box muted?
Just a start to cancel out the obvious

 

Nope, its all connected ok. Obvious yeah but worth a try thx. Currently doin channel scan after factory rest....will see how that goes lol

 

scan complete and all ok. Dunno why but the factory reset fixed the audio issue

 

it's also wise to check the audio channel settings ( usually red button ) these often get switched and either come up mute or with audio description on. Simply switching to the other English channel can fix this.

 

is the scart properly "pushed" in?

Have you clicked the mute button?

try pressing the RED AUDIO BUTTON

some have 2 channels for sound

switch off at the mains and switch back on again


what did you do before the loss of sound occured?

if you have just updated keys, that would not affect the sound
