I've recently authored together the subtitles,audio and the movie for xxxx-xxxx and i checked the subs were working with DivX Subtitle Displayer so i know they're fine but when i try to preview in Dvd Shrink i see no subtitles even though there is clearly a subpicture, will the subs show up on the finish DVD-R or have I gone wrong somewhere...?
You won't see any subtitle in the dvdShrink's subscreen. After you back it up (in your hard drive or burn it to dvd) the subtitle option will be available, just as it should be. If this failed, try use dvd decrypter program. This always works fine for me. Give it a try.
pinkeye, Are the files you are trying to do a Divx file. Are the files if they are Divx been converted to DVD=Compliant diles ( mpeg_2). Shrink needs to see either >vob,.bup.ifo or .iso .mds files
