I Was Recently reading about a new Playstation 3 Controller on the Playstation Web Site and found out that due to some six axis feature of the remote Comtroller they will not have the Vibration Function because it interferes with the New Features of the remote. I now am wondering how the lack of this feature will impact their sales On The PS3 launch what are youre thoughts. I Myself was starting to think about buying the
Playstation 3 over the XBox 360 untill I read that the remote will not have the Vibration Function. Please post your thoughts thank you.

LOL barfmaul you thought it was the first too. Anyways the ps3 controller wasent the first to use the tilt feature and I'm not talking about the Wii. A much, much more older system. The ps1 had a third party controller that used the tilt funtion. It is called the TILTFORCE. But it is compatible with only afew games but it is also compatible with afew ps2 games such as Ace combat 4, killzone, gran tursimo 4, ssx 3, ratchet and clank. [IMG]

idk about tilt, cause i when i play, i play with A LOT! of expression and i move around a lot, it would really be annoying if i accident tilted it and it messed me up...i think they should scratch the tilt feature not a good idea

i might just have to resort back to normal ps2 and ps1 controllers

Umm.. I kinda was cos I don't really care about the vibration function. I'd rather have it instead of the tilt function because to be honest it's just a rip off of what Nintendo is doing with the Wii.

That is exactly what I think is going to happen to me because I dont hold the controller completly straight.

Yeah right.... I new that (being sarcastic). No really it's hard to tell if someone is being sarcastic or not over the internet but I guess you could figure that out. Oh well my mistake.

who does hold the controller striaght? i think if Sony was smart, they would make their controllers with an on and off function for tilt, hopefully because sometimes i lay on my side or something and ply my games

Probably there is a button you press when you wan to use the tilt feature. So that way you wont always be shaking the controller.

I think the tilt function is only for certain games.

I dont know because Sony was making a pretty big deal out of this. It should be compatible with most games for the ps3.

guys i dont know what you are thinking.. look, anyone remember kirby tilt and tumble for the gameboy? it has a thing where to could set where the default position was. im sure when you connect the controller it will adjust itself to its position. so if u want to lay down it will be just fine. i dont think sony is that stupid.

i dont think its worth it to go threw all the trouble to adjust it everytime i change a position, it seems more like a pain then it would be fun.

you really change positions that much? i do maybe every 20-50 minutes or so. and if its a simple button press then why would you care?

and with kirby, you had to hold it straight with the spot you set it at.

I'd have a problem if I got frustrated, I usually bash my controller against something.
