I keep having this issue. I reflow the GPU and ana chip and it works for maybe a week tops and dies again. Bad board at this point? I have reflowed it twice now.
sounds like it could be getting too hot and the solder is melting again after time and splitting. try an aftermarket fan, or something to that degree.
Id agree with homesick, i dont know an awful lot about them but seems like your box is getting seriously hot. have you tried keeping it in a better ventilated place eg not a cabinet etc Also like homesick said, aftermarket fans might help. If it was me id prolly go over the top and just mod it with a few well placed case fans. hope this helps fl3x7
when you say reflow , are we talking hot air ? BGA rework machine? or are you just leaving the heatsink to "bake" ?
