When I try to play a dvd it plays only sound and no picture. I have tried several different software programs including Nero. Could anyone please help?
A little more information is needed: And in the spirit of the new year: Like what are you trying to play it on? Is your monitor or tv turned on? Are your eyes open? Bugger I can't keep this new year stuff up. My mind reading 'ali' helmet is still wrapped around the turkey, I've little doubt creakys' missus is still using the colander. I am trying to play original and copied dvd's on a sony DVD RW DW-Q28A and of course the monitor is on otherwise how would I use the program? I don't really understand what a codec is but I will do some investigating.
Well that's a start,,,codecs, are mini programs, that help your pc interpret and communicate with formats it ain't used to.
