I have a movie that has NO video_ts.vob file. It has the .bup and .ifo files but no .vob file. This is probably why the sucker won't play after a rip and burn. Bro Bear suggested FixVTS but I don't think that will even work. Nero gives a file allocation error and then says the video_ts.vob file is missing (that's how I noticed).
    Any suggestions?

where'd you get the file folder from in the first place (download, retail backup, conversion, etc.)?

I got it right from the original DVD I bought. Unless it's well hidden, I couldn't find it on the disc using WinExplorer.

I believe brobear was probably correct in his assumption. And this is the link that will probably help you. There are 2 solutions, brobear's seems to be the easiest of the 2, but I am sure either one will work for you.
