I've copied/backed-up Corpse Bride three times and each time I get same results. NO VOICES!!!! all I get is music, and sounds but no voices. I tested on 2nd dvd player and all was ok. Which tells me that the problem is with the 1st dvd player. But I dont have that problem with other back-ups. I use good quality DVDs. I burned with DVDFAB, then I tried DVDShrink and burned with dvddecryptor at 4x. All this information might be irrevelant to my dvd problem but I thought I should include it. WHat could be the problem?
a friend of mine ripped corpse bride, but when burning the ISO with Nero 7 it would stop at around 42 seconds. he also tried ripping it with decrypter and then creating the iso w/ shrink...and that went fine. it was just when he attempted to write the ISO with Nero 7 that he encountered the problem. he is a novice computer user so i have yet to attempt it myself, so i will update this post when i have attempted to help him rip this movie myself. has anyone else had a problem like this? thank you, cygnus.
I made 3 backups using dvdfab and its burning program. (I think its called VSO burning engine) The dvd comes with 2 audio options. DTS being one of them. I had to switch to DTS for the movie to have voices. Before I switched, it would only play sounds and music. I now use dvdfabDecrypt0r and dvdshrink, burning with Nero. I have had perfect back-ups since using this method. As for the problem you mentioned, check that no other burning programs are running in the background at the same time as Nero. Nero requires a lot of RAM so its best to not do anything with the PC while its backing up movies. Close all unnecessary applications and see if that works. Another option may be to re-install Nero. Check other threads and see what other options you may have.
