Certain posts are answered quicker than others. First and foremost, the post needs to be clear and detailed. If we know what the problem is, it's easier to respond with a valid answer. Most people aren't going to take the time to ask follow-up questions. Secondly, we're not all experts about every problem. The more difficult or rare the problem, the longer it may take to get a response. Finally, it's summer time in the northern hemisphere, so more people are likely to be on vacation. If most people are like myself, they won't worry about helping people with problems while on vacation. Speaking of which, I'll be on vacation for the next week, so don't expect to hear from me until I return.
Just exactly who can be a know-all about computers and be able to answer every question correctly? Plus, computers are like royal jelly; 85% of chemicals in royal jelly (or something like that) are unidentified. Of course, we're all volunteers here. i agree with everyone above me, sometimes i get super frustrated because people arent as friendly as they used to be about a year ago, and sometimes you dont get any responses for a very long time, but in the defense of afterdawn, it always comes through for me no matter what
