Hi all, When I set up my sons PC I put Nod32 on there like on mine no prob. Recently he informed me Nod wasn't working. So I went into Programmes/Eset/Nod32 Control centre and it gave me an error box saying it couldn't connect to the kernel. I uninstalled it and the Fix rebooted then reinstalled it and the fix and the same thing happened. Am I doing something wrong in the installation or something?
Help would be greatly appreciated. BTW I have tried to google this.

A firewall could be blocking it. Make sure it has full access.

    Maybe...?

try applying the fix before the reboot. could be the firewall. if no luck try another version of nod. get the demo from them and try the fix on that.

The problem is it worked fine for quite a while with the same hardware firewall as I have from our network modem/router and I'm using the same version on my PC so what's gone wrong? I installed as per instructions, the only thing is I don't get the screen to "set parameters later" in the fix.
