Note: I used the search feature but found no relevant post regarding my problem.

I'm using Riverpast Video Cleaner Pro to convert videos such as wmv, avi, etc to mp4. The settings are:

    Output: MP4
    Video: MPEG-4 Video Basic 320x240 23.976fps 1024.0 kb/sec
    Audio: AAC-LC 44.1khz-CD Quality 16bits stereo 64.0kb/sec

When i convert the file, The audio is there and it's synced to the video BUT there is noticible noise not heard in the original avi video. Are there some settings that I can change around to get rid of this noise?

I tried the same settings on Total Video Converter and I got Perfect sound except it is not synced with the video. TVC has great sound but it's out of sync! I can't win with any of the software. Any help with either software to get good results is appreciated.

Try to convert your video files with other programs following the sticky guides. If not work, plz upload your video files to www.sendmefile.com and i will have a try.

I think there is nothing wrong with your settings.
