    Thanks for the help. Unfortunately all I get is 'Not Allowed'. (No SIM in phone).

    I am wondering if the phone could have been barred from unlocking, as I purchased it 2nd hand - perhaps the previous owner tried to unlock it too many times? Would this give this message?
