Reposting here...don't know if my previous post would be reviewed, based on the volume of requests here! My Nokia 1600 (bmobile/TSTT) was recently unlocked by SalMal (Much thanks!), however:

Still cannot connect to other network, phone shows as if I have no service (I see the antenna, but no bars). Otherwise, it is no longer SIM locked as I do not get an error when I insert a different/other provider SIM, just the indicator as if there is No Signal.

Also, in Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Network Selection if I select Manual (as opposed to Automatic) after searching for 60 seconds it returns a list of Operators with "TSTT" as the only entry. Is this what is called a "service provider lock"?

Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks again!

Edit: Should also mention that when I remove the SIM and attempt to do #pw+1234567890+(anything)#, the last # does not appear. The key just beeps and nothing happens. Only the IMEI and Firmware codes work at present. My previous post was http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/742297

YOUR PHONE IS UNLOCKED BUT NETWORKS YOU WAT TO USE ARE DIFERNT
FREQUENCY, YOU CAN GET SIGNAL WHERE THE SIGNAL IS ON 850 AREA
BUT NOT ON THE AREA WHERE FREQUENCY IS 1900 WITH DIGICEL
YOUR PHONE WILL WORK ANYWHERE WITH FREQUENCIES 850/1800 ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

    TSTT WORKS ON FREQUENCY 850/1800

    DIGICEL WORKS ON FREQUENCY 850/1900

    Well I feel stupid.

Thanks much for the feedback...will see if anything is on the 850 frequency elsewhere (doesn't work at my current location).

    Much thanks!
