Removed sim card and followed your instruction to the letter. Did one attempt as you stated which was followed by the "ERROR CODE" information.
JG, Maybe not my lucky day tried that last one also to the letter. Still got the code error information ( only one try as you stated) Guess that leaves me 1-2 more tries. So far would like to thank you thus far for the help.

Just confirm Cable and Wireless is bMobile? Do you by any chance know what the MNC for that is? We are having a difference of opinion here.
Do you know how to manually select the Network? Sometimes you will see numbers and sometimes you will see the Network name.
