Thanks a lot for the reply. I used the code and the screen said "phone restriction off", but when I put in my cingular simcard it's not finding any service. Any ideas? Thanks!

blerim_1 Someone has been messing with the phone before you came to us. The phone is hard locked. You can stick with Vodafone or take it to your local phone shop. linoran your phone is unlocked so that's great. Try cleaning your SIM, Take it out, Blow on it or use a dry cloth and wipe the chip part on the back, gently! Leave the Battery out of the phone for 1 minute. Then boot your phone back on. If that does not work. Try factory resetting your phone. (if you need a security code visit http://www.unlockitfree.com/master.php ) Finally if you have found no solutions. Call Cingular Customer Services and tell them. They will either issue you with a new SIM or send you some service message settings that may help. Best of Luck.
