Real tough one. I do not think we can do it. I can give you a code but it will be a guess.
We have had little success with Auzi phones. The normal codes we would use around the rest of the world don't work in OZ.
If you want to try, let us know. I will do something different.

I'd be grateful if you could give it a go. After all I get three tries before it locks me out right?

    Thanks

    jon,
    Go bravely!!
[bold]Please read ALL of the instructions below before you start.See the "Note:If nothing happens." below.[/bold]

Did you check with IMEI: *#06# ,Firmware Version: *#0000# .

    Nokia:2600
    IMEI:356207008661648
    Network:Telstra
    Country:Australia

    [bold]Is this correct?[/bold]

If you know the risks, try this [bold]ONCE and ONLY ONCE[/bold] and let us know if it works. You have only 3 to 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It will still work on your Network so no big loss.

    #pw+332246357053254+7#

    #pw+332146357053254+7#

Remove sim first, power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
    Press * 3 times fast for (p) \
Press * 4 times fast for (w) IMPORTANT
    Press * 2 times fast for (+) /
and the rest of the code---

    [bold]IMPORTANT!![/bold]
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only heve about two seconds.

[bold]Note:If nothing happens.[/bold] Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim, you will see "phone restricted", press UNDO option and enter the code in the restriction box and press ENTER.

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code.[bold]STOP[/bold] tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked. Used up all your free tries!!

[bold]DO let us know if this works.[/bold]
Help us provide a better service.

    Hi again

Thanks for trying. Gave this code a try:

    #pw+332246357053254+7#

    got a "code error"

So stopped there and thought I'd get back to you to see what you would suggest.

    Thanks
    Jon

    jspokes,
    Excellent!!!
I wish more people would STOP.
To be frank, in May of this year this would work.

    #pw+707410321535220+7#

You can try it once if you like..
Please read all the instructions first.

The problem is that we have been running into a brick wall.
I would like to try this:

    #pw+814021236271030+7#

The second code I gave you before was.I will admit, a long shot.
Actually, the only code that goes with the "norm" is #pw+707410321535220+7#
Every thing else is a guess.(Educated of course!!!LOL)
    The decision really is yours.
As I said before, I am having a hard time with OZ phones.
    We all are!!!
I have a hunch that Telstra are programing their phones with a false identity. I am trying to find out the secret.
I do not think you have enough tries to solve the problem.
Sorry, that's all I can offer.

    You can go to here:
    http://unlocknokia.byyourcommand.net/index.php

The boys there may have more up-to-date info. It will not cost much.
Ofcourse, if you hard lock it, they cannot help with a code solution.
    Read everything first!!!
    JG

    Thanks again

Tried the following codes with no luck.

    #pw+707410321535220+7#
    #pw+814021236271030+7#

Both give me a code error, so guess i'll just have to pay my $25 and get it unlocked.

    Thanks fore trying anyway guys.
    Jon

    Hi Jon
    Sorry about that.
There is a slim chance you may still have a try left. Until you get the dreddid Not allowed.
I'll ask someone to have a look at this thread and offer om opinion.
