There is a random code that you could use but I DO NOT recomend that because it will use up one free try if you need to unlock it,
You have only 3 to 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It will still work on your Network so no big loss.
The best way to find out if the phone is locked is to borrow a sim from a friend and see if it works.
